How WordGirl Works
Whether it’s tidying up your resume, writing a brochure for customers, creating a press release or preparing a report, the way you communicate is often the first impression people have of you, your work or your business.
In writing or editing your work, we use plain English so that your audience understands your message and actually read what you have to say. There is no point including all the information on your product or service if people find it too difficult to read.
Getting Started
Before we begin to create or edit your work, we need to know who we are talking to – therefore an important part of the copywriting process is research and planning.
Copywriters need to understand the target audience; whether this involves reading about the company, interviewing the client or looking at the reasons behind the development of the product or service, research is critical before pen is even put to paper. It’s just as important to understand how your audience receives information. This could be online via your website, brochures, a press release, newsletters or articles – the method of communication is just as important as your message.
All work is conducted in MS word and we work to suit your needs, via phone, email or face to face. An initial discussion over the phone is ideal, so we can get a good understanding of what you need.
